AVerMedia's new HDMI 2.1 Game Capture Card, the Live Gamer ULTRA 2.1 (GC553G2) and the Live Gamer 4K 2.1 (GC575), are said to enhance gameplay streaming. They support 4K144 HDR/VRR passthrough and enable high frame rate video capture up to 1920×1080 at 240fps. The GC575, which won the COMPUTEX Best Choice 2023 Award, is a PCIe video capture card aimed at improving video quality.

The new cards are the first of their kind and are scheduled for release in August 2023. They are available in both an internal PCIe version and an external USB version. AVerMedia plans to release models in multiple colors, with the black cards hitting the market first.

In addition to the HDMI 2.1 cards, AVerMedia is introducing the Live Streamer MIC 350 (AM350), a USB microphone designed for podcasting and content creation. AVerMedia also offers support for interactive virtual hosting solutions targeting the growing virtual host and VTuber sector.

AVerMedia also presents an all-in-one solution for small meeting rooms and personal video conferencing tools. In addition, AVerMedia is offering an embedded AI solution powered by NVIDIA Jetson modules, with features such as over-the-air upgrades, remote maintenance and embedded vision and video capture.

AVerMedia will be present at COMPUTEX 2023 to showcase a number of new products, including the HDMI 2.1 Game Capture Card. It will be interesting to see how these new products are received in the market and if they can meet expectations. AVerMedia is the first company to launch a consumer HDMI 2.1 capture card, and it remains to be seen how the competition will position themselves to do so.
